Getting started with Beratown is straightforward

Connecting Your Wallet

1. Visit https://beratown.dapdap.net

2. Connect your wallet on the top right of the interface

   

   Supported wallets include: Metamask, Bitget Wallet, Rabby, OKX wallet
3. Ensure you have some $BERA for gas fees

   • For bArtio testnet: Use the Berachain faucet (faucet icon in Beratown)

   • For mainnet: Acquire $BERA through supported exchanges

Essential Concepts

Before diving into Berachain, understand these key components:

• $BERA: The network's gas token

• $BGT: Non-transferable governance token earned through participation

• $iBGT: Liquid governance token for BGT from Infrared (wrapped 1:1)

• $HONEY: Berachain's native stablecoin (can be minted via vaults or swapped on DEX)

• $SFC: Snowflake — mysterious token that emerged during Bera's Wonderland campaign

• Royco: Order-book style incentive marketplace (IAM)

• Boyco: Royco's pre-seed mechanism letting protocols lock-in liquidity before Berachain goes live
